Studio Forme was founded in 2011 by Aditi Shroff and Vasco Almeida, initially as a one-room practice above a bookshop in Colaba. In fourteen years the studio has grown carefully — never beyond twelve people — into an office working between Mumbai and Lisbon.

The work is authored, unhurried and quiet. We are drawn to projects where the plan is difficult, the site is generous, and the client is patient. We work in stone and lime and oak, in linen and terrazzo and hand-poured plaster.

Every project is led by a partner from first sketch to final coat. We have no set style. We have a way of working.
